Speaker: Gavon Bourne (Gideon’s International – Regional Officer, Africa South, Uganda

Gavon Bourne is a retired Lecturer in Turf Grass Management, and resides in Heathcote Junction, Victoria with his wife, Patricia. Gavon has been a member of The Gideons International in Australia since 1993, and served as state president for Queensland, and as National Development Director for The Southern States including Victoria and Tasmania. Gavon has also served on international teams including Peru. Since 2012, Gavon has served as a Regional Field Officer with assignments in in the Pacific Rim, Papua New Guinea, Solomon Islands, Kiribati Islands, Fiji, Vanuatu, New Caledonia, Tuvalu Islands and Tonga. In the 2018-19, Gavon was appointed to Asia—Hong Kong, Macau and Mongolia. Currently, he accepted the “Pilot” Regional Field Officer Assignment to Uganda, Africa South. Gavon will be sharing with us, what he has been doing in Uganda of recent, including photos on the data projector.
