Phil is a Criminal Barrister. He has been a member of the Victorian Bar for over 20 years, appearing for thousands of people charged with criminal offences. For thirteen years, Phil maintained a parallel career as a School Chaplain supporting staff, students and families of the local Primary School. Phil now splits his time between his Court appearances and his role as co-founder of The Shed Door, a registered charity in Mitcham, Victoria.

Operating from an Industrial factory space in an Industrial estate in Mitcham, it mainly caters to men’s needs. The factory space is the home for various programs focused on the well-being of youth, young adults, men, and their families.

Phil is married with four children and loves adventures with his family, often participating in mission work in The Philippines, which has become an annual event. They often take other family groups, youths and young adults as well.
